In honor of tonight’s TINH return, Shaffir shared a snippet of an Austin-based tale that occurred during his 2013 Moontower appearances.

I did go to Franklin Barbecue last time. I was with Just for Laughs Montreal producer Robbie Praw – he’s a small Jewish man – and we ate it all. We just went crazy: sausage, brisket. Most people go for ribs, but I’m a brisket guy.

The hotel was maybe a twelve-minute walk back. Around six minutes he started bending over, but he kept walking. it was more of a hunch. Then in another three minutes he started running back to the hotel. He made it in time – to the bathroom in the lobby. He didn’t even make it all the way to his room.

I was totally fine. And I’ll definitely be back to Franklin this year.
